Mission and Outreach

We have stories to tell of how God is at work changing the lives a people through the mission and ministry of ELCA congregations, synods and churchwide ministries! The goal of Mission Interpreters in C/SIS is to equip lay and or clergy to visit each congregation in our synod over the next two years.

The purpose of these visits is:

♦ Offer motivational presentations that describe who we are as the ELCA;
♦ Listen and celebrate the Mission and Ministry congregations are doing locally, synodically and Churchwide;
♦ Provide tools that can be used in local congregations to further develop a Vision for Mission and Ministry;
♦ Thank congregations for their financial support; and in ministry together.
